About the Play
Indian Princesses tells the stories of five girls of color and their white fathers and father figures as they participate in a Native American-themed father-daughter bonding program during the summer of 2008. The pairs go through a series of exercises and excursions meant to strengthen their bonds as fathers and daughters––but how can these men be protectors and guides when they're incapable of discussing gender and race?
