Maegan Morris is thrilled to join Rattlestick Theater after spending her career supporting and promoting theater artists. She comes to Rattlestick from Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, where she served as the Contract Affairs Representative for Off-Broadway and New York theaters, Northeast regional theaters, national tours and summer stock across the country. During her tenure, she served as primary negotiator for several collectively bargained agreements, participated in labor organizing campaigns including the successful inclusion of associate and resident directors and choreographers on Broadway, and served as the staff liaison of the Boston steering and Fines & Penalties committees. Previously, she was a talent agent at Bloc Talent Agency in the Legit and Choreography departments, representing artists in film, television, theater, music videos and concert tours. She had previously worked at the Telsey Office and National Artists Management Company. She is the founder of the NYC Dancers Vote Registration Drive, running voter registration events throughout the tri-state area encouraging the dance community to register the vote in local and national elections. She received her bachelor’s degree in English and Theatre from Middlebury College in Vermont. A third generation native New Yorker, she currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband and two kids.
