On October 6, 2008, honorary chairs Terrence McNally and Tom Kirdahy, along with Gala Co-Chairs Lawrenece Benenson, Catherine Gellert and Nicola Walter, will host our 14th anniversary Gala at Caroline’s on Broadway in New York City. As theater is the most collaborative of all art forms, where noted authors, actors, directors, designers and managers combine their talents to create great art. Rattlestick will celebrate the many artistic talents involved in our productions with this year’s Gala, It’s All About the Art, which will feature a cocktail reception, dinner and a luxury auction of unique items and experiences in the company of Rattlestick alumni and friends.
There will also be special entertainment, and proceeds will go directly to support Rattlestick’s pioneering theatrical work. You can support the gala by: buying a table or tickets to the Gala, donating to the silent or live auction, donating to the goodie bags, and inviting ten friends to join you at the Gala. Rattlestick Theater is a multi award winning 501©3 tax exempt organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Bonasorte Prize: At last year’s gala, David Van Asselt announced the creation of the Bonasorte Prize, honoring the memory of playwright and Rattlestick founder, Gary Bonasorte. It will be awarded for the first time to an emerging playwright at this year’s Gala. The recipient will be selected by a panel of theater professionals.
